Ensemble 5 has put together a very special programme for the fifth summer Summer Concert: Arnold Schönberg appears in the circle of his great role models, the antipodes Richard Wagner and Johannes Brahms. "Es ist ein Flüstern in der Nacht," a youthful work by the just 20-year-old Schönberg, begins as a pastoral description of the mood, which within a few minutes develops into an expressive climax. The second movement of Schönberg's twelve-tone String Quartet No. 3, on the other hand, is characterized by a melodically touching lyricism that leads directly to the intimate atmosphere of the Wesendonck-Lieder.

Due to the applicable distance and hygiene rules, a reservation is required.
